It is finally summer! Yeah! -punches air-
I myself am very excited that we are finally free from the lecturing. However I will miss one place. STUDY HALL! (good times)
Hopefully I'll be in the same one next year, but I doubt it.
What is odd is even though you are over joyed to be out of school you miss it slightly. After all in school you see a lot of people who you speak to, but don't really hang out with. Does that make sense?
Anyway ENJOY summer.

Moonlight, the T.V. show on Fridays normally is coming back April 25th. It is about a vampire P.I. and a human that he has been protecting for long. The T.V. show is very interesting and if you haven't watched it I suggest you catch up. You have enough time!
~~~~Stephenie Meyer is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I love her books and am so excited to get the fourth and watch the movie. *lays down from hopping up and down* ----sugar rush.
It is AMAZING on how sore people can get when they lose.
I feel sad for them since they don't know properly how to conduct themselves when they lose. All they know is they failed, or they are just sore for once people are better or have different ideas.
Certain people are opinion wise aggressive, and if someone disagrees with they the are grumpy and crestfallen. That probably bothers me the most. Everyone has different opinions and ideas, and it is a right-- freedom of speech. I don't believe that if you don't listen to everyone's ideas and opinions they you are ignorant (excuse me if it is you). I admit myself ignorant at times, not listening to the other side of the story, but at a certain point I stop, and listen. People who won't listen at all, and after people disagree with them go hide in the corner and pout bother me. They are annoying because they should know that the whole world isn't going to agree with them. The must prepare themselves for the future, and train by letting in other ideas, and possibly agreeing with them.
Then there are sports-man-ship aggression. When people who lose a sport or a addiction to anything. They pout because someone happens to be better than them. There is always someone better, and that is the truth. Those who are the best many be hidden, but who really knows? Being spoiled, and getting all the parts and then pouting will get you no where. Get up and work, and possibly next time that person getting this award will be you.
Do you want to know the most annoying thing about teachers? They seem to have a sixth sense. Like target, target not sure of answer. Or target day dreaming. The one time I am not paying attention and not raising my hand in class, he calls on me. Yet tons of kids day dream the entire period and yet nothing.
I wonder what I will have for lunch?
First thing you should know about me is I am a sucker for romantic books. Mostly Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (she is so talented). So when I found it was going to be made into a movie I jumped up so high I almost hit my head on the ceiling. Rock on Stephenie!
Suddenly green light burst and filled my eyes. When it cleared it revealed a man his face was dark, shaded by the lack of light. He held out a hand while glancing around with one eye, the other one covered by gorgeous black hair. I looked down and the tough glove on his hand and shook my head my brown hair flinging it self to the side of my face. He grinned recklessly and then he took my hand that clung a piece of my hair and held it firmly in his. Then he moved closer, maybe a little closer than necessary I could feel the steady pulse of his heart. Once he was closer I could see him better. Behind his lock of hair was beautiful and deep blue eyes. I gazed into them, and his grin revealed pearly whites. I gapped at how tall he was he towered over me his precious eyes on me. “Come,” he whispered, his voice husky and gentle. I blinked to see if he was real then fastened my hand on his tighter, I nodded trustingly. Some odd sensation was filling me I never trusted anyone like this before, not even my mother. “Alright,” I said my trusting, hazel eyes looking up into his. He looked back into my eyes then glanced behind me, “Alva La’ve,” I found myself spinning my a sharp pain filled my mind I gasped in pain. “Hold on,” he said emotionally and grasped my delicate hand harder I saw almost some loving concern in his eyes. I nodded and held my head firmly I felt his bare hand holding mine as we spun and spun.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~
“Honestly it won’t feel right partying there, having so much fun, dancing with Luke,” she drifted off her voice completely in dreamy moment so I took that as my escape key. I began walking away when she cut in front of me. “Elena honestly I’m sorry I am in dream moment but I just can’t help it! I am so excited! This can be the night of our first amazing kiss!” She squealed in pleasure and I continued down the hall my eyes focused on the room for our next class, she followed eagerly. “You know it really won’t feel right with out you… I mean you should come maybe I can hook you up with Dean…”
I cut her off right then, “Sammy, I don’t feel like going on with like, a blind date.” As she opened her mouth to protest I pulled the classroom door open and let it close on her open mouth. Rude, yes, but effective I thought reluctantly.
“Today… We shall learn that we are not just brainless bodies coming to school for ‘chicks’ and ‘hunks’ today in fact we will learn what real use you are and what now is,” I leaned over on my desk completely uninterested but, I tried my best to look completely thrilled. “The most important time in your very lives.” The teacher snapped her ruler on the desk of where I believe a Larry Flament sits. I heard a groan before the Ms. Ostcart moved on through out the aisles, “Most people say that with out a past you have no future and that is in fact why you attend my class you zombies and why there is history,” her chest puffed up slightly as she spun around her cheap shoes making a squeal on the floor which make everyone grab their ears. “Sure, use your hands that way instead of writing this down!” she hissed as she sat down on her seat in the front of the classroom.
“Sure use your hands that way instead of writing this down!” came a shrill voice as we exited the class room James grinned at me then I grinned back as the signal to continue his whole opinion which he didn’t give a lot, “I mean honestly someone should give that lady, spice with everything nice or whatever the hell they call it,” he argued grimly as we both traveled side by side to the next class. I laughed and he held the door open as I ducked under his arm still laughing.
I poked to the pudding as Sammy continued to stare at Luke as he swung his fork around while talking to Dean. I let my head fall into my other hand and stirred away from existence. “Will you perhaps move over,” asked a voice I grunted and lifted my head slowly, there was James. I slid over squeezed in between Dean and James I tried to center myself so I didn’t touch either one of them but my arm became tired and leaned it against James’s elbow. He shoved some potatoes in his mouth while watching Luke almost poked Sammy with the fork as he described his near car crash.
“Yeah, my breaks totally failed,” he said nodding at Dean.
Dean nodded and started back at his food, “I know man.”
James looked at both of them, “Did you drive to school? I could take a look at you car.”
Luke looked at James in surprise, “Um, yeah, that would be great thanks!” He said and stood up to toss the remainders of his food.
I looked at James wanting to ask if what he knew about cars, but didn’t. I turned back to my pudding and stood up walking toward the trash cans. James followed carrying his own food he threw them out and paused as I tossed my pudding, “You don’t like pudding?” his face was fierce with amusement or something else
I shrugged my shoulders carelessly, “I’m not that hungry.”
“True enough, we only have two more classes to day dream through then you can eat something at home?” he seemed to be edgy as if he was attempting to ask me something.
I shrugged again, not giving him anything, I heard a rapid sigh leave him as he opened the door for me and then headed south.
After two day dreaming classes as James had preferred to I walked slowly back to my car as every normal day. I watched Luke open the door and Sammy flush in pleasure and then entered. I smiled slightly to myself, an odd couple, I committed. The James showed up from what seemed no where his eyes where fearful and yet impulsive and excited. “Elena,” he said my name slowly pronouncing each letter which made me shiver nervously. “I was wondering,” he paused his tone suddenly cautious as his expression, “I,” he stumbled now losing perfection to what ever he was attempting to ask. Then some kind of determination seemed to strike him he cleared his throat the words coming out swiftly, “I want to take you to the dance, I heard that you still aren’t taken and I thought I’d try my chances at lunch but, I chickened out. Mind taking a chicken to the school dance,” his eyes where both secretive, embarrassed and yet still hopeful.
“I don’t dance well,” I warned my voice stern then it softened under the stress that I saw behind his thick eyelashes, “But, I would love to go the school dance with you.” I hoped I wasn’t doing anything I regretted. After all we had always just been friends, going with him to the dance could complicate things?
“No worries, I’m no dancer myself,” he smiled warmly at me I notice how tender his eyes were as he looked at me. “I’d better go see Luke’s car before he kills himself and Sammy the flirt,” he almost looked sad he hesitated for a moment, looking around to see that no one was watching us. I saw him lean toward me I felt my pulse quicken swiftly his face was inches from mine I could feel the heat coming off his face. His lips were swift and smooth as they brushed against my cheek. He turned around abruptly and stalked off to Luke.
I started the engine putting the car into gear and barely noticing I blocked Flament from the exit. I was thinking about James. Things seemed so odd, after all we have been friends for several years. Well not the last two where our lives changed and we were forced into two different social groups. James was in an odd group the were strangely missing school offend and getting away with it. Most of them buff and offend talking in low whispers and hushed voices. Very little time did they ever talk to anyone outside their group. To think about it, it was odd he had sat beside me today. I continued to ponder until I got home I forced James from my head and began to head upstairs into my room to talk online to Sammy. Sure I had just left school but, I was sure I would already have twenty messages. As I logged on I was right. She had written several things mostly questions, apparently James had spilled the beans about us. I shivered at the sound of the word us. I typed slowly back putting detail and my personal thoughts into the message the clicked send. A second later there was flutters more of questions, I answered as many I could possibly manage before excusing myself to making dinner. As I boiled the noodles I recalled everything that had happened earlier.
“You know the gossip is almost absolutely unbearable,” I said irritated as we held hands as we walked into the lunch room and were followed by muttering voices.
“You know we could give them something to talk about,” he said I noticed the glisten in his eye as he did. He noticed my scowling expression and nodded, “Don’t worry it will lighten,” he encourage his free arm snaking around my waist.
“That’s not exactly helping,” I commented as the voices got louder behind us. He rolled his eyes and released me. As we ate neither one of us said anything, slightly because practically everyone was staring at us. I felt vibes of anger and frustration coming from him as he let his bangs hide his eyes from me, I sighed.
He looked up suddenly his eyes clear and confirmed my fears. “I want to be your boyfriend,” he said firmly his eyes stubborn and furiously burning with passion. “It is difficult because you are so shy to people who, won’t give you privacy,” he said the last few words louder so the listeners were hinted in. James reached out across the table, “I’m sorry Elena,” he said my name the way he had the day he asked me to dance with the same pronunciation.
“I know,” I whispered reaching out the short distance the separated out fingers I touched my finger tips his and his hand wrapped itself around my own delicate one. Then the bell rang I heard murmurs of frustration that they wouldn’t be able to enjoy the show until tomorrow. I pushed them from my mind focusing on our hands.
"Ready,” he asked as he stood his fingers still locked in mine, I nodded once. As we walked down the hall trying to block out the loud gossip I noticed his eyebrows frown as he stopped by my classroom door, “I’ll see you in two periods.” His voice dragged as if it would be weeks until he would see me again. I was shocked and only nodded once. He turned his back to me his hands shoving in his pockets as he stalked of almost sulky like to the next class.
“Hey Elena,” his face was cheerful and very, very, bright.
“You’re oddly cheerful now,” I noted out loud walking toward him slowly. He stared at me with a smug smile and leaned against his car, and my ride.
“School free time for two lovely days, what is not cheerful about that,” he asked his voice as optimistic as his face. I shrugged and he laughed enchantingly I felt confusion as he swung each arm around my waist pulling me to him. He hugged me tightly his mouth pressed on the top of my head. Instinctively my arms wrapped themselves around his collarbone and clung to him. He reacted by lifting me off my feet I felt the world spin around as he laughed into my ear. “So what should we do?”
“Take a drive around the world and back,” I whispered back my voice cut off from short air supply. “James, mind putting me down so I can get oxygen?”
He let another laugh into my ear before surprisingly gently letting down to my feet. I felt my head spinning slightly I let the air fill my lungs and inhaled and exhaled for several minutes. He watched and appeared extremely amused. I looked at him almost harshly, “What you weren’t the one squeezed from air.”
James grinned and then grabbed my shoulders and then lead me into the car. “Don’t be mad,” his voice was enchanting I felt the anger leave my face and I tried not to smile. He saw the struggle struck across my face and winked, “You can slap me for show, I’ll still love you.”
Something on my face made him laugh yet again I didn’t know what it was supposed to be a serious expression, “Nah,” he whispered, “Your forgiven.”
“I knew you would forgive me,” he looked like he wanted to hug me then instead opened the door. “Your highness?” he said brightly and then closed the door behind me. As he slid into the car beside me he took my hand and kissed it his lips wondering and then the swiftly left my skin. I saw his eyes flash with hunger as he started the engine our hands still entwined. “Monday is the dance,” his voice was noticeably sad I tried to get rid of the mood and nodded.
“Oh!” I said so abruptly after a few minutes of driving silently it made James jump. “I was going to go dress shopping with Sammy!” My eyes widened as I remembered my promise to her.
“The flirt,” he said indifferently he stopped the car on the side of the road to look at me in the face. When he saw my pleading eyes he sighed and turned the car around.
As we stopped in the school parking lot he said nothing as I opened the door and then released my hand. He seemed quite upset, “Thank you,” I murmured gratefully before rushing over to Sammy my mouth full with apologies.
“Does it make me look fat?” questioned the reflection of Sammy I shook my head as started to unzip the back. “Please don’t lie to me Elena,” she pleaded.
“You look fabulous in everything Sammy,” I encouraged.
“Should I get it? Or do you like the tan?” she held up the two gorgeous dresses and I pointed to the black one. “You sure?” she asked her eyes wide.
“Yes,” I confirmed and then left to give her privacy to change again. As she stepped out from the dressing room and hung the tan dress on the rejection hanger she nodded to me.
“It is stunning on you!” she squealed as I stepped from the dressing room a fire truck red dress. It was beautiful it identified every shape of my body perfectly. My brown hair still stunning against the red, it almost made it stand out. The straps thin and tied around my neck in a V making it so I wouldn’t have to wear much jewelry. I breathed in and turned around to face Sammy, “Get it,” she insisted I nodded in agreement speechless.
After finding silver high heels which Sammy insisted on so I could wear them again and because the didn’t make the red to instinctive. “Thanks for going shopping with me,” I said gratefully as we headed home.
Soon we were at my house she nodded, “No problem, wow, looks like James has decided to see you,” she said out loud. I recognized the car in front of my house and raced out. Once in I instantly found James leaned against a chair with his car keys.
“Ready?”
I rubbed my arms to bring heat back into them as we stepped out of James car. He noticed my fidgeting, since all the windows had been down. He pulled his jacket off and held it out to me, “Come on take it, I wouldn’t want you to freeze to death!” his eyes widened. I gave him a smug smile and took the jacket pushing up the long white sleeves and sighed it was toasty warm.
“Thanks I mumbled behind the coat, I was warming my wind whipped face now. He grinned and grabbed my shoulders. Just like earlier he gave me an air gasping hug and just like earlier my arms wrapped themselves around his neck. After a few spins he set me down his eyes were glowing with untamed joy. I felt a gasp leave my throat at his expression, he suddenly looked considered which made his face suitable again.
“You okay?” he asked gentle the back of his hand brushing across my forehead. I shivered again and nodded. “I don’t think you are, lets go back,” he grabbed the car door for me. When I stood stubbornly in the spot he gave me a look that said I’ll use force.
My face remained stubborn as I stalked toward him my chin up and full of dignity then I slipped on a mud pile my eyes widening. I felt to strong supports on my waist I looked up, dazed. James hand caught me he pulled me up slowly his face inches from mine. “Thanks,” I whispered, he stared at me for several minutes then helped me into the car.
Instead of walking to his side he slide across the roof of the car and then opened the door a second later. “Okay, lets get you to a doctor,” I scowled at him and he smiled again, “Don’t worry I’ll stay with you.” He noticed my grim expression and ignored it by starting the engine.
“She should be fine,” insisted the doctor to intense James. I didn’t see why he was so considered most people, even my mother didn’t stress this much over a fever. Suddenly he turned his back on the doctor and stared at me for a while. Then James grabbed me clutching me to him his hand gently stroking my hair lovingly.
“I’m fine,” I whispered into his chest, he continued to stroke me his face buried in my hair. I buried my face into his strong shoulder feeling joy. He continued to clutch me so long that the doctor shrugged and walked off.
Finally he forced me to look up his face serious, “I’m glad,” he held me close still each arm strung around me protectively.
“I know,” I whispered up to his intense face, he let out a shaky breath and steered me around and outside. I shuddered as I did his arms pulled me closer to his warm body, I shivered once in pleasure. Once I was warm, my cheeks rosy pink he let a little space come between us. Then a stranger stared at me his grin ruddy and dangerous. James arms curled around me pushing me into his chest and facing his back to the stranger. “Thanks,” I said gently as he opened to door for me then slid across the hood again.
Once he was in the car he was grinning his arm curling over my shoulders as he started the engine. He seemed very pleased I was not sick, “Mmm, I suppose your curious why I got so stressed… Well if you get sick no dance, right?” he grinned lightly. I knew that was one reason but behind his grin there was another reason why he was stressed about my well being.
I shoved the earring into my ear it sparkled in the little light in the bathroom. My gown already on it reached almost down to my feet but not long enough to cover the sliver high heels. I reached for the red lipstick rubbing across my lower lip my then rubbing the two together and opening them again with a pop. I examined myself in the mirror then released my hair. I stuck a few curlers in it the exited the bathroom quick to grab my blush. I ran into my brother whom stared at me with great wonder I patted his head gently and flashed him my now pearly whites. Once in the bathroom I swiftly put the blush in then took out the curlers. Perfect. I smiled at my reflection it was a dazzling view, my lips red as my dress my cheeks hinted in and my green eyes popping out. I noted that curly hair worked for me it curled down to my shoulders I actually looked elegant. I felt relief and surprise I noticed that Sammy was right about the silver high heels. Flinging myself down the stairs then I saw him. My eyes widened, he was talking to my mother his gorgeous black hair wavy and his eyes bright with excitement. “Elena,” he said my name the way I loved, I moved slowly toward him my eyes only peeking to see my mother’s surprised expression.
“Hello,” I breathed my green eyes wide as a deer’s in front of a car’s headlights. He laughed at my expression and swiftly covered the distance between us. He lifted me up into the air spinning me around which seemed effortless. Then he set me down offering his hand and lead me out the door I heard my mother call something but I didn’t notice nor care. It was getting dark now, he swiftly took me around to the open car door then walked around the hood. “What no sliding?” I questioned once he was inside.
He laughed at me, “You expect me to slid in this!” he leaned toward me his face inches from mine. “You look beautiful,” I noticed the red roses that where next to me and I nodded my head light. He leaned closer, I watched my eyes encouraging. His lips were suddenly on mine wrapping gently around mine, shaping in. I noticed how calm he seemed to be but, I noticed the burning passion that seeped through his tender kiss. Slowly he stopped and released me I suppressed a sigh. He smiled at me his eyes burning, “Shall we go?”
I nodded my eyes bright with my own excitement, “Yes, I liked the kiss,” I purred my hand running toward his. He laughed taking my hand and starting the engine that I was getting to know so well.
“Hey Sammy,” I waved toward her as James scowled at me. I looked up at him with a smug smile it seemed to lighten his mood slightly. Sammy raced toward us even if she was in high heels she sure could run, Luke followed slowly.
“Hello,” said James, he sounded rather unpleasant as he did so I gave him a jab with my elbows. He looked down at me his eyes widening then dipped his head and kissed Sammy’s hand swiftly. As he stood up and he glance at me my eyes pure murder. “You wanted me to be pleasant did you not?” he whispered to me later.
“Not that pleasant,” is snapped still glaring.
“Forgive me,” he muttered he lifted my chin so I could look into his gentle eyes.
“Oh…. Okay,” I sighed still thinking unpleasant things in my mind.
He seemed to notice then danced us to a darker spot in the room while I was in extreme thought. Then he had kissed me again, I felt his lips retrace mine carefully, he did it with more passion now, his hands running smoothing through my hair pulling me closer. I felt my hands grab his hair tugging his face closer to mine my blood pounding in my veins. He pushed me into the wall although normally tame, he wasn’t now. He pressed against me all his feelings coming out with his lips pressed feverishly against mine. I felt his hunger, his joy, his passion. I felt his hand slide down my shoulders, and all the way down to my hips. He planted each hand on either side and pulled me to him. I shivered in joy and pressed against him myself I felt my own lips kissing him back with equal passion and heat. Suddenly he stopped releasing me from the cage he had created and smiled warmly at me.
“No,” I whispered into his ear.
Before I could say anything else we whispered in mine, “You are much too tempting,” he let me off of the wall. I scowled as he brought me back on the dance floor, apparently no one had noticed our little scene, thank god, I added to myself. “I’ll be back,” James whispered, “Punch,” he added after my questioning expression.
Suddenly green light burst and filled my eyes. When it cleared it revealed a man his face was dark, shaded by the lack of light. He held out a hand while glancing around with one eye, the other one covered by gorgeous black hair. I looked down and the tough glove on his hand and shook my head my brown hair flinging it self to the side of my face. I nodded and held my head firmly I felt his bare hand holding mine as we spun and spun.
Only when we stopped was when I realized the fatherly concern in Flament's eyes. He was gorgeous of course I felt my jaw fall limply and he grinned at me again. Suddenly James appeared I was instantly comforted by his presence. "I told you not tonight Sina," he hissed his normal smooth voice unusually harsh.
'Sina' looked like he flexed his arm muscles, "This is no time to be greedy, we need her." Flament actually looked dangerous his brown eyes hidden by the shadow of his curly hair.
"Sina?" I asked curiously before but when neither of them looked at me I continued, "I thought your name was Larry? Need me for what?" I was extremely confused my mind filled with questions.
"Great, you got her curious," whispered James his face stubborn, I realized it actually looked selfish. I my eyes snapped away from his face and onto Sina he seemed friendly enough...
"Elena, you don't belong in the world you grew up in, you are one of a kind," Sina or Larry I didn't know which at the moment took my hand. I tried to protest but, he winked and flipped it over tracing the lines, "You are the chosen one.. Yes, my name is Sina and I take part in your destiny," he grinned. Flament released my hand I felt slight disappointment as he did and it fell limply to my side. "I see the future," he explained, "I have seen the victory of our people and your face was clouded into the vision.. Of course you can change your destiny but, it may do run ours you are the key to all of ours," he closed his eyes suddenly.
I suddenly felt great pressure on my shoulders, "What? I don't quite understand," Sina lifted a blade and placed it under my nose. I slowly took it feeling the light weight of it the hilt shaping into the size of my hand.
I felt my eyes narrow, "Well I know nothing of what you are talking about." They both opened their mouths, but I cut them off it was my turn to ask questions, "Where are we? Why is your name Sina and you are called Larry? Why not tonight?," I threw the questions at their faces my own severe.
"Sina is an odd name," he shrugged and continued, "I thought Larry was more, normal."
James stroked my hair and remained quiet for a while, "I wanted you tonight, all to myself," he looked at me with soft eyes. "Your at Fara."
"Fara?" I asked the word pronounced wrong as I said it.
"Fara," corrected Sina he looked at James, "And James is Prince James..." he laughed.
"Prince you could have told me," I half sighed I rubbed my now tender head, "This is all to confusing..."
James grabbed me and kissed my head tenderly, "Ahh, don't be upset with me please?" He lifted my chin so I could look up into his apologizing eyes. His arms snaked around my waist his eyes still looking at me. I grabbed his neck burying my face in his neck he lifted me spinning.. I heard Sina sigh as James set me down, "I wish I could say that my kingdom is a happy place and it will be a happy ending... We are in war," he searched my face.
"I want to help," I whispered my eyes burning some how I knew this is what I needed. What I wanted. I normally was one with war I had always thought of it to be too dangerous.
"No," James whispered stroking my hair again he grabbed my face, "Don't..."
"I going to," I said firmly. Then he was kissing me his lips furious I felt incredible he continued for what seemed too short of a time although I knew it was a while. He released my searching my expression hopefully, "I'm still going." He sighed and let me go from his arms.
James turned his back on both Sina and me, "My whole life I've wanted to be someone other than who I am now, but since I've been with you all I want to be is me." He rubbed his own head and turned around, "I wish you not to be involved."
Sina rolled his eyes, "James have a little faith.. Besides this isn't a soap opera," then he turned toward me his eyes flashing at my near tears face. "If you wish to fight, then you will."
I looked at James who suddenly looked afraid, "I do."
Sina nodded, "Do you vow to fight with your life until the very end?" his face was businesslike.
"I do," I said with as much sincerity I could muster.
"Bow," Sina whispered and gave a gesture toward James. I knelt before him my knee getting mud all over as my dress, I didn't care. James face was broken he looked like he was about to cry as I was. I wondered what was going through his mind right then, "Stand," called Sina's voice pulling me back to reality.
There was a sudden cry both James and Sina flinched. Sina suddenly pulled out a very long sword the blade stretching out into the sky it was a wonder he could hold it. He began to run toward the voice I realized that was why he was so buff... James whipped out a sword of his own it steel and pure gold at the handle a normal size. He followed Sina calling for me to stay. I waited several minutes before deciding that that was more than enough time for me to wait. I ran toward where both James and Sina had disappeared hoping to get a glimpse of one of them. Suddenly there was a green flash and someone gripping my wrist. I punched at the air until I hit something still blinded by the light. "Oof," heard a grunt I attempted to hit thing making the noise again until I recognized the voice, "Elena whats the big idea?" it was Sina.
"Where is James?" I asked the world now beginning to reappear from the bright lime light.
"He is gone, for now," he said his eyes searching my expression carefully.
"Why? Where?" I asked furiously and attempted to pull my hand from his clutch.
"He needs to take care of some business as for where you wouldn't know." He grinned at the last part and the patted my head with the other hand, "Settle down."

He grinned recklessly and then he took my hand that clung a piece of my hair and held it firmly in his. Then he moved closer, maybe a little closer than necessary I could feel the steady pulse of his heart. Once he was closer I could see him better. Behind his lock of hair was beautiful and deep blue eyes. I gazed into them, and his grin revealed pearly whites. I gapped at how tall he was he towered over me his precious eyes on me. “Come,” he whispered, his voice husky and gentle. I blinked to see if he was real then fastened my hand on his tighter, I nodded trustingly. Some odd sensation was filling me I never trusted anyone like this before, not even my mother. “Alright,” I said my trusting, hazel eyes looking up into his. He looked back into my eyes then glanced behind me, “Alva La’ve,” I found myself spinning my a sharp pain filled my mind I gasped in pain. “Hold on,” he said emotionally and grasped my delicate hand harder I saw almost some loving concern in his eyes. I nodded and held my head firmly I felt his bare hand holding mine as we spun and spun.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Honestly it won’t feel right partying there, having so much fun, dancing with Luke,” she drifted off her voice completely in dreamy moment so I took that as my escape key. I began walking away when she cut in front of me. “Elena honestly I’m sorry I am in dream moment but I just can’t help it! I am so excited! This can be the night of our first amazing kiss!” She squealed in pleasure and I continued down the hall my eyes focused on the room for our next class, she followed eagerly. “You know it really won’t feel right with out you… I mean you should come maybe I can hook you up with Dean…”
I cut her off right then, “Sammy, I don’t feel like going on with like, a blind date.” As she opened her mouth to protest I pulled the classroom door open and let it close on her open mouth. Rude, yes, but effective I thought reluctantly.
“Today… We shall learn that we are not just brainless bodies coming to school for ‘chicks’ and ‘hunks’ today in fact we will learn what real use you are and what now is,” I leaned over on my desk completely uninterested but, I tried my best to look completely thrilled. “The most important time in your very lives.” The teacher snapped her ruler on the desk of where I believe a Larry Flament sits. I heard a groan before the Ms. Ostcart moved on through out the aisles, “Most people say that with out a past you have no future and that is in fact why you attend my class you zombies and why there is history,” her chest puffed up slightly as she spun around her cheap shoes making a squeal on the floor which make everyone grab their ears. “Sure, use your hands that way instead of writing this down!” she hissed as she sat down on her seat in the front of the classroom.
“Sure use your hands that way instead of writing this down!” came a shrill voice as we exited the class room James grinned at me then I grinned back as the signal to continue his whole opinion which he didn’t give a lot, “I mean honestly someone should give that lady, spice with everything nice or whatever the hell they call it,” he argued grimly as we both traveled side by side to the next class. I laughed and he held the door open as I ducked under his arm still laughing.
I poked to the pudding as Sammy continued to stare at Luke as he swung his fork around while talking to Dean. I let my head fall into my other hand and stirred away from existence. “Will you perhaps move over,” asked a voice I grunted and lifted my head slowly, there was James. I slid over squeezed in between Dean and James I tried to center myself so I didn’t touch either one of them but my arm became tired and leaned it against James’s elbow. He shoved some potatoes in his mouth while watching Luke almost poked Sammy with the fork as he described his near car crash.
“Yeah, my breaks totally failed,” he said nodding at Dean.
Dean nodded and started back at his food, “I know man.”
James looked at both of them, “Did you drive to school? I could take a look at you car.”
Luke looked at James in surprise, “Um, yeah, that would be great thanks!” He said and stood up to toss the remainders of his food.
I looked at James wanting to ask if what he knew about cars, but didn’t. I turned back to my pudding and stood up walking toward the trash cans. James followed carrying his own food he threw them out and paused as I tossed my pudding, “You don’t like pudding?” his face was fierce with amusement or something else
I shrugged my shoulders carelessly, “I’m not that hungry.”
“True enough, we only have two more classes to day dream through then you can eat something at home?” he seemed to be edgy as if he was attempting to ask me something.
I shrugged again, not giving him anything, I heard a rapid sigh leave him as he opened the door for me and then headed south.
After two day dreaming classes as James had preferred to I walked slowly back to my car as every normal day. I watched Luke open the door and Sammy flush in pleasure and then entered. I smiled slightly to myself, an odd couple, I committed. The James showed up from what seemed no where his eyes where fearful and yet impulsive and excited. “Elena,” he said my name slowly pronouncing each letter which made me shiver nervously. “I was wondering,” he paused his tone suddenly cautious as his expression, “I,” he stumbled now losing perfection to what ever he was attempting to ask. Then some kind of determination seemed to strike him he cleared his throat the words coming out swiftly, “I want to take you to the dance, I heard that you still aren’t taken and I thought I’d try my chances at lunch but, I chickened out. Mind taking a chicken to the school dance,” his eyes where both secretive, embarrassed and yet still hopeful.
“I don’t dance well,” I warned my voice stern then it softened under the stress that I saw behind his thick eyelashes, “But, I would love to go the school dance with you.” I hoped I wasn’t doing anything I regretted. After all we had always just been friends, going with him to the dance could complicate things?
“No worries, I’m no dancer myself,” he smiled warmly at me I notice how tender his eyes were as he looked at me. “I’d better go see Luke’s car before he kills himself and Sammy the flirt,” he almost looked sad he hesitated for a moment, looking around to see that no one was watching us. I saw him lean toward me I felt my pulse quicken swiftly his face was inches from mine I could feel the heat coming off his face. His lips were swift and smooth as they brushed against my cheek. He turned around abruptly and stalked off to Luke.
I started the engine putting the car into gear and barely noticing I blocked Flament from the exit. I was thinking about James. Things seemed so odd, after all we have been friends for several years. Well not the last two where our lives changed and we were forced into two different social groups. James was in an odd group the were strangely missing school offend and getting away with it. Most of them buff and offend talking in low whispers and hushed voices. Very little time did they ever talk to anyone outside their group. To think about it, it was odd he had sat beside me today. I continued to ponder until I got home I forced James from my head and began to head upstairs into my room to talk online to Sammy. Sure I had just left school but, I was sure I would already have twenty messages. As I logged on I was right. She had written several things mostly questions, apparently James had spilled the beans about us. I shivered at the sound of the word us. I typed slowly back putting detail and my personal thoughts into the message the clicked send. A second later there was flutters more of questions, I answered as many I could possibly manage before excusing myself to making dinner. As I boiled the noodles I recalled everything that had happened earlier.
“You know the gossip is almost absolutely unbearable,” I said irritated as we held hands as we walked into the lunch room and were followed by muttering voices.
“You know we could give them something to talk about,” he said I noticed the glisten in his eye as he did. He noticed my scowling expression and nodded, “Don’t worry it will lighten,” he encourage his free arm snaking around my waist.
“That’s not exactly helping,” I commented as the voices got louder behind us. He rolled his eyes and released me. As we ate neither one of us said anything, slightly because practically everyone was staring at us. I felt vibes of anger and frustration coming from him as he let his bangs hide his eyes from me, I sighed.
He looked up suddenly his eyes clear and confirmed my fears. “I want to be your boyfriend,” he said firmly his eyes stubborn and furiously burning with passion. “It is difficult because you are so shy to people who, won’t give you privacy,” he said the last few words louder so the listeners were hinted in. James reached out across the table, “I’m sorry Elena,” he said my name the way he had the day he asked me to dance with the same pronunciation.
“I know,” I whispered reaching out the short distance the separated out fingers I touched my finger tips his and his hand wrapped itself around my own delicate one. Then the bell rang I heard murmurs of frustration that they wouldn’t be able to enjoy the show until tomorrow. I pushed them from my mind focusing on our hands.
"Ready,” he asked as he stood his fingers still locked in mine, I nodded once. As we walked down the hall trying to block out the loud gossip I noticed his eyebrows frown as he stopped by my classroom door, “I’ll see you in two periods.” His voice dragged as if it would be weeks until he would see me again. I was shocked and only nodded once. He turned his back to me his hands shoving in his pockets as he stalked of almost sulky like to the next class.
“Hey Elena,” his face was cheerful and very, very, bright.
“You’re oddly cheerful now,” I noted out loud walking toward him slowly. He stared at me with a smug smile and leaned against his car, and my ride.
“School free time for two lovely days, what is not cheerful about that,” he asked his voice as optimistic as his face. I shrugged and he laughed enchantingly I felt confusion as he swung each arm around my waist pulling me to him. He hugged me tightly his mouth pressed on the top of my head. Instinctively my arms wrapped themselves around his collarbone and clung to him. He reacted by lifting me off my feet I felt the world spin around as he laughed into my ear. “So what should we do?”
“Take a drive around the world and back,” I whispered back my voice cut off from short air supply. “James, mind putting me down so I can get oxygen?”
He let another laugh into my ear before surprisingly gently letting down to my feet. I felt my head spinning slightly I let the air fill my lungs and inhaled and exhaled for several minutes. He watched and appeared extremely amused. I looked at him almost harshly, “What you weren’t the one squeezed from air.”
James grinned and then grabbed my shoulders and then lead me into the car. “Don’t be mad,” his voice was enchanting I felt the anger leave my face and I tried not to smile. He saw the struggle struck across my face and winked, “You can slap me for show, I’ll still love you.”
Something on my face made him laugh yet again I didn’t know what it was supposed to be a serious expression, “Nah,” he whispered, “Your forgiven.”
“I knew you would forgive me,” he looked like he wanted to hug me then instead opened the door. “Your highness?” he said brightly and then closed the door behind me. As he slid into the car beside me he took my hand and kissed it his lips wondering and then the swiftly left my skin. I saw his eyes flash with hunger as he started the engine our hands still entwined. “Monday is the dance,” his voice was noticeably sad I tried to get rid of the mood and nodded.
“Oh!” I said so abruptly after a few minutes of driving silently it made James jump. “I was going to go dress shopping with Sammy!” My eyes widened as I remembered my promise to her.
“The flirt,” he said indifferently he stopped the car on the side of the road to look at me in the face. When he saw my pleading eyes he sighed and turned the car around.
As we stopped in the school parking lot he said nothing as I opened the door and then released my hand. He seemed quite upset, “Thank you,” I murmured gratefully before rushing over to Sammy my mouth full with apologies.
“Does it make me look fat?” questioned the reflection of Sammy I shook my head as started to unzip the back. “Please don’t lie to me Elena,” she pleaded.
“You look fabulous in everything Sammy,” I encouraged.
“Should I get it? Or do you like the tan?” she held up the two gorgeous dresses and I pointed to the black one. “You sure?” she asked her eyes wide.
“Yes,” I confirmed and then left to give her privacy to change again. As she stepped out from the dressing room and hung the tan dress on the rejection hanger she nodded to me.
“It is stunning on you!” she squealed as I stepped from the dressing room a fire truck red dress. It was beautiful it identified every shape of my body perfectly. My brown hair still stunning against the red, it almost made it stand out. The straps thin and tied around my neck in a V making it so I wouldn’t have to wear much jewelry. I breathed in and turned around to face Sammy, “Get it,” she insisted I nodded in agreement speechless.
After finding silver high heels which Sammy insisted on so I could wear them again and because the didn’t make the red to instinctive. “Thanks for going shopping with me,” I said gratefully as we headed home.
Soon we were at my house she nodded, “No problem, wow, looks like James has decided to see you,” she said out loud. I recognized the car in front of my house and raced out. Once in I instantly found James leaned against a chair with his car keys.
“Ready?”
I rubbed my arms to bring heat back into them as we stepped out of James car. He noticed my fidgeting, since all the windows had been down. He pulled his jacket off and held it out to me, “Come on take it, I wouldn’t want you to freeze to death!” his eyes widened. I gave him a smug smile and took the jacket pushing up the long white sleeves and sighed it was toasty warm.
“Thanks I mumbled behind the coat, I was warming my wind whipped face now. He grinned and grabbed my shoulders. Just like earlier he gave me an air gasping hug and just like earlier my arms wrapped themselves around his neck. After a few spins he set me down his eyes were glowing with untamed joy. I felt a gasp leave my throat at his expression, he suddenly looked considered which made his face suitable again.
“You okay?” he asked gentle the back of his hand brushing across my forehead. I shivered again and nodded. “I don’t think you are, lets go back,” he grabbed the car door for me. When I stood stubbornly in the spot he gave me a look that said I’ll use force.
My face remained stubborn as I stalked toward him my chin up and full of dignity then I slipped on a mud pile my eyes widening. I felt to strong supports on my waist I looked up, dazed. James hand caught me he pulled me up slowly his face inches from mine. “Thanks,” I whispered, he stared at me for several minutes then helped me into the car.
Instead of walking to his side he slide across the roof of the car and then opened the door a second later. “Okay, lets get you to a doctor,” I scowled at him and he smiled again, “Don’t worry I’ll stay with you.” He noticed my grim expression and ignored it by starting the engine.
“She should be fine,” insisted the doctor to intense James. I didn’t see why he was so considered most people, even my mother didn’t stress this much over a fever. Suddenly he turned his back on the doctor and stared at me for a while. Then James grabbed me clutching me to him his hand gently stroking my hair lovingly.
“I’m fine,” I whispered into his chest, he continued to stroke me his face buried in my hair. I buried my face into his strong shoulder feeling joy. He continued to clutch me so long that the doctor shrugged and walked off.
Finally he forced me to look up his face serious, “I’m glad,” he held me close still each arm strung around me protectively.
“I know,” I whispered up to his intense face, he let out a shaky breath and steered me around and outside. I shuddered as I did his arms pulled me closer to his warm body, I shivered once in pleasure. Once I was warm, my cheeks rosy pink he let a little space come between us. Then a stranger stared at me his grin ruddy and dangerous. James arms curled around me pushing me into his chest and facing his back to the stranger. “Thanks,” I said gently as he opened to door for me then slid across the hood again.
Once he was in the car he was grinning his arm curling over my shoulders as he started the engine. He seemed very pleased I was not sick, “Mmm, I suppose your curious why I got so stressed… Well if you get sick no dance, right?” he grinned lightly. I knew that was one reason but behind his grin there was another reason why he was stressed about my well being.
I shoved the earring into my ear it sparkled in the little light in the bathroom. My gown already on it reached almost down to my feet but not long enough to cover the sliver high heels. I reached for the red lipstick rubbing across my lower lip my then rubbing the two together and opening them again with a pop. I examined myself in the mirror then released my hair. I stuck a few curlers in it the exited the bathroom quick to grab my blush. I ran into my brother whom stared at me with great wonder I patted his head gently and flashed him my now pearly whites. Once in the bathroom I swiftly put the blush in then took out the curlers. Perfect. I smiled at my reflection it was a dazzling view, my lips red as my dress my cheeks hinted in and my green eyes popping out. I noted that curly hair worked for me it curled down to my shoulders I actually looked elegant. I felt relief and surprise I noticed that Sammy was right about the silver high heels. Flinging myself down the stairs then I saw him. My eyes widened, he was talking to my mother his gorgeous black hair wavy and his eyes bright with excitement. “Elena,” he said my name the way I loved, I moved slowly toward him my eyes only peeking to see my mother’s surprised expression.
“Hello,” I breathed my green eyes wide as a deer’s in front of a car’s headlights. He laughed at my expression and swiftly covered the distance between us. He lifted me up into the air spinning me around which seemed effortless. Then he set me down offering his hand and lead me out the door I heard my mother call something but I didn’t notice nor care. It was getting dark now, he swiftly took me around to the open car door then walked around the hood. “What no sliding?” I questioned once he was inside.
He laughed at me, “You expect me to slid in this!” he leaned toward me his face inches from mine. “You look beautiful,” I noticed the red roses that where next to me and I nodded my head light. He leaned closer, I watched my eyes encouraging. His lips were suddenly on mine wrapping gently around mine, shaping in. I noticed how calm he seemed to be but, I noticed the burning passion that seeped through his tender kiss. Slowly he stopped and released me I suppressed a sigh. He smiled at me his eyes burning, “Shall we go?”
I nodded my eyes bright with my own excitement, “Yes, I liked the kiss,” I purred my hand running toward his. He laughed taking my hand and starting the engine that I was getting to know so well.
“Hey Sammy,” I waved toward her as James scowled at me. I looked up at him with a smug smile it seemed to lighten his mood slightly. Sammy raced toward us even if she was in high heels she sure could run, Luke followed slowly.
“Hello,” said James, he sounded rather unpleasant as he did so I gave him a jab with my elbows. He looked down at me his eyes widening then dipped his head and kissed Sammy’s hand swiftly. As he stood up and he glance at me my eyes pure murder. “You wanted me to be pleasant did you not?” he whispered to me later.
“Not that pleasant,” is snapped still glaring.
“Forgive me,” he muttered he lifted my chin so I could look into his gentle eyes.
“Oh…. Okay,” I sighed still thinking unpleasant things in my mind.
He seemed to notice then danced us to a darker spot in the room while I was in extreme thought. Then he had kissed me again, I felt his lips retrace mine carefully, he did it with more passion now, his hands running smoothing through my hair pulling me closer. I felt my hands grab his hair tugging his face closer to mine my blood pounding in my veins. He pushed me into the wall although normally tame, he wasn’t now. He pressed against me all his feelings coming out with his lips pressed feverishly against mine. I felt his hunger, his joy, his passion. I felt his hand slide down my shoulders, and all the way down to my hips. He planted each hand on either side and pulled me to him. I shivered in joy and pressed against him myself I felt my own lips kissing him back with equal passion and heat. Suddenly he stopped releasing me from the cage he had created and smiled warmly at me.
“No,” I whispered into his ear.
Before I could say anything else we whispered in mine, “You are much too tempting,” he let me off of the wall. I scowled as he brought me back on the dance floor, apparently no one had noticed our little scene, thank god, I added to myself. “I’ll be back,” James whispered, “Punch,” he added after my questioning expression.
Suddenly green light burst and filled my eyes. When it cleared it revealed a man his face was dark, shaded by the lack of light. He held out a hand while glancing around with one eye, the other one covered by gorgeous black hair. I looked down and the tough glove on his hand and shook my head my brown hair flinging it self to the side of my face. He grinned recklessly and then he took my hand that clung a piece of my hair and held it firmly in his. Then he moved closer, maybe a little closer than necessary I could feel the steady pulse of his heart. Once he was closer I could see him better. Behind his lock of hair was beautiful and deep blue eyes. I gazed into them, and his grin revealed pearly whites. I gapped in realization of who he was he smiled at me. “Come,” he whispered, his voice husky and gentle. I blinked to see if he was real then fastened my hand on his tighter, I nodded trustingly. Some odd sensation was filling me I never trusted anyone like this before, not even my mother. “Alright,” I said my trusting, hazel eyes looking up into his. He looked back into my eyes then glanced behind me, “Alva La’ve,” I found myself spinning my a sharp pain filled my mind I gasped in pain. “Hold on,” he said emotionally and grasped my delicate hand harder I saw almost some loving concern in his eyes. I nodded and held my head firmly I felt his bare hand holding mine as we spun and spun.
Only when we stopped was when I realized the fatherly concern in Flament's eyes. He was gorgeous of course I felt my jaw fall limply and he grinned at me again. Suddenly James appeared I was instantly comforted by his presence. "I told you not tonight Sina," he hissed his normal smooth voice unusually harsh.
'Sina' looked like he flexed his arm muscles, "This is no time to be greedy, we need her." Flament actually looked dangerous his brown eyes hidden by the shadow of his curly hair.
"Sina?" I asked curiously before but when neither of them looked at me I continued, "I thought your name was Larry? Need me for what?" I was extremely confused my mind filled with questions.
"Great, you got her curious," whispered James his face stubborn, I realized it actually looked selfish. I my eyes snapped away from his face and onto Sina he seemed friendly enough...
"Elena, you don't belong in the world you grew up in, you are one of a kind," Sina or Larry I didn't know which at the moment took my hand. I tried to protest but, he winked and flipped it over tracing the lines, "You are the chosen one.. Yes, my name is Sina and I take part in your destiny," he grinned. Flament released my hand I felt slight disappointment as he did and it fell limply to my side. "I see the future," he explained, "I have seen the victory of our people and your face was clouded into the vision.. Of course you can change your destiny but, it may do run ours you are the key to all of ours," he closed his eyes suddenly.
I suddenly felt great pressure on my shoulders, "What? I don't quite understand," Sina lifted a blade and placed it under my nose. I slowly took it feeling the light weight of it the hilt shaping into the size of my hand.
I felt my eyes narrow, "Well I know nothing of what you are talking about." They both opened their mouths, but I cut them off it was my turn to ask questions, "Where are we? Why is your name Sina and you are called Larry? Why not tonight?," I threw the questions at their faces my own severe.
"Sina is an odd name," he shrugged and continued, "I thought Larry was more, normal."
James stroked my hair and remained quiet for a while, "I wanted you tonight, all to myself," he looked at me with soft eyes. "Your at Fara."
"Fara?" I asked the word pronounced wrong as I said it.
"Fara," corrected Sina he looked at James, "And James is Prince James..." he laughed.
"Prince you could have told me," I half sighed I rubbed my now tender head, "This is all to confusing..."
James grabbed me and kissed my head tenderly, "Ahh, don't be upset with me please?" He lifted my chin so I could look up into his apologizing eyes. His arms snaked around my waist his eyes still looking at me. I grabbed his neck burying my face in his neck he lifted me spinning.. I heard Sina sigh as James set me down, "I wish I could say that my kingdom is a happy place and it will be a happy ending... We are in war," he searched my face.
"I want to help," I whispered my eyes burning some how I knew this is what I needed. What I wanted. I normally was one with war I had always thought of it to be too dangerous.
"No," James whispered stroking my hair again he grabbed my face, "Don't..."
"I going to," I said firmly. Then he was kissing me his lips furious I felt incredible he continued for what seemed too short of a time although I knew it was a while. He released my searching my expression hopefully, "I'm still going." He sighed and let me go from his arms.
James turned his back on both Sina and me, "My whole life I've wanted to be someone other than who I am now, but since I've been with you all I want to be is me." He rubbed his own head and turned around, "I wish you not to be involved."
Sina rolled his eyes, "James have a little faith.. Besides this isn't a soap opera," then he turned toward me his eyes flashing at my near tears face. "If you wish to fight, then you will."
I looked at James who suddenly looked afraid, "I do."
Sina nodded, "Do you vow to fight with your life until the very end?" his face was businesslike.
"I do," I said with as much sincerity I could muster.
"Bow," Sina whispered and gave a gesture toward James. I knelt before him my knee getting mud all over as my dress, I didn't care. James face was broken he looked like he was about to cry as I was. I wondered what was going through his mind right then, "Stand," called Sina's voice pulling me back to reality.
There was a sudden cry both James and Sina flinched. Sina suddenly pulled out a very long sword the blade stretching out into the sky it was a wonder he could hold it. He began to run toward the voice I realized that was why he was so buff... James whipped out a sword of his own it steel and pure gold at the handle a normal size. He followed Sina calling for me to stay. I waited several minutes before deciding that that was more than enough time for me to wait. I ran toward where both James and Sina had disappeared hoping to get a glimpse of one of them. Suddenly there was a green flash and someone gripping my wrist. I punched at the air until I hit something still blinded by the light. "Oof," heard a grunt I attempted to hit thing making the noise again until I recognized the voice, "Elena whats the big idea?" it was Sina.
"Where is James?" I asked the world now beginning to reappear from the bright lime light.
"He is gone, for now," he said his eyes searching my expression carefully.
"Why? Where?" I asked furiously and attempted to pull my hand from his clutch.
"He needs to take care of some business as for where you wouldn't know." He grinned at the last part and the patted my head with the other hand, "Settle down."
